Water Confidence

Stroke Development

Academy 1 Assessment
Graduates complete a skills assessment to join Academy 1, our entry-level competitive squad. This marks the beginning of their competitive swimming journey.

What age can my child start?
Children can start from age 4 in Level 1. We assess each child individually to ensure they're placed in the appropriate level for their ability and confidence.
How long does each level take?
Each level typically takes 8-24 weeks depending on the level and individual progress. Swimmers progress when they've mastered the exit criteria for their current level.
What is the class size?
We maintain small class sizes with a maximum ratio of 1 instructor to 8 swimmers to ensure personalized attention and safety.
Can parents watch the lessons?
Yes, all our venues have spectator areas where parents can watch their children's lessons. We encourage parents to observe their child's progress.
What happens if my child misses a lesson?
We offer make-up sessions where possible, subject to availability. Please contact us as soon as possible if your child needs to miss a lesson.
