Frequently Asked Questions

How do I join the competitive programme?

Swimmers typically progress from Learn to Swim Level 6 to our Academy Squads automatically.  Experienced swimmers and those from other lessons can arrange a trial session with our coaches.

What is the time commitment?

Commitment varies by squad from 1 session per week for Academy squads up to 8 sessions for Senior National. Performance squads also include strength and conditioning sessions.

Do I need to compete?

Competition is an integral part of our competitive programme and we will encourage all children to participate to allow them to see their progress. However, we offer a Competitive Club pathway for swimmers who prefer lower competition frequency.

What are the costs?

Fees vary by squad and training frequency. Contact us for detailed pricing information. Additional costs include competition entries, team kit, and travel to events.

Can my child balance swimming with school?

Many of our swimmers successfully balance academic commitments with training. We work with families to support time management and prioritize both education and swimming development.
