Our Masters programme is designed for adults aged 18+ who want to swim for fitness, improve technique, or compete in Masters events. Whether you're returning to swimming after years away or looking to maintain competitive fitness, we have sessions to suit your goals.
Led by experienced coach Lisa O'Brien, our sessions focus on technique refinement, fitness development, and enjoyment of swimming. The friendly, supportive atmosphere makes it easy to challenge yourself while having fun.

Typical Session Structure
90-minute sessions with varied training focus
Warm-up (15 mins)
Easy swimming to prepare muscles and joints
Technique Work (20 mins)

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need to be a strong swimmer?
You need to be able to swim 200m continuously, but you don't need to be fast or have perfect technique. Our coach will work with you to improve your swimming.
What if I haven't swum in years?
Many of our members are returning to swimming after a long break. We welcome swimmers of all abilities and will help you rebuild your fitness and confidence.
Do I have to compete?
No, competition is entirely optional. Many of our members swim purely for fitness and enjoyment. For those interested, we organize trips to Masters competitions.
Can I try a session before joining?
Yes, we offer trial sessions so you can experience our Masters programme before committing. Contact us to arrange your trial.
What should I bring?
Bring swimwear, goggles, towel, and a water bottle. Optional items include fins, paddles, and pull buoy for specific drills.
